Mr. Khalid TAHRI has been an electromechanical engineer since 1991 and an MBA graduate of the École des Ponts et Chaussées, Paris since 2002. He works at the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water - Water Branch (ONEE-BO) , 33 years of experience.

Currently and for the past year, Mr. Khalid TAHRI has been the Planning Director at ONEE BO. Previously and for 12 years, he held the position of Technical and Engineering Director within the same Office, responsible, at national level, for the design and construction of hydraulic works for large drinking water projects, supplied by natural resources. in conventional or unconventional water, including seawater desalination.

Also, Mr. Khalid TAHRI contributed, as an international expert, to some drinking water projects in Africa and the MENA region, including the Aftout Essahli project for the drinking water supply to the city of Nouakchott in Mauritania.

Mr. Khalid TAHRI is also vice-president of the Moroccan Society of Membranes and Desalination (SMMD) and actively participates in national and international conferences organized by various associations dealing with water including IDA, IWA, GWI, EDS, WEX , ACUWA.
