He holds both Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Civil & Structural Engineering and Registered by Engineers Board of Kenya as a Consulting Engineer. He has vast experience of over 26 years in design, construction and contract management of road projects. He has supervised many projects at both consultancy design stages upto completion of construction. He has been involved in the design and construction of both Government of Kenya Funded projects and those funded by Development Partners (WB, EU, AfDB, KfW, EIB and worked as project coordinator. Currently he is a Director In-Charge of Public Private Partnership (PPP) at Kenya National Highways Authority. PPP has been adopted as an alternative financing mechanism for implementation of Public Sector projects to leverage on effectiveness of the private sector and minimize over-reliance of Exchequer for financing of Public Infrastructure. Successful Project implemented is the Nairobi Expressway, which is under Operation and Maintenance Phase.
