Asgar is a multi-faceted leader with over 20 years of experience in the development sector. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, along with certifications as a PPP Expert and Procurement Professional. His passion lies in infrastructure development and capacity building, with a specialization in structuring transactional and institutional arrangements for effective Public-Private Partnerships across various project life cycles, sectors, and geographies.

Throughout his career, Asgar has contributed to numerous initiatives for the Government of India, including Smart Cities, Swachh Bharat, Doubling Farmer Income, Make in India, Ease of Doing Business, Har Ghar Jal, and Namami Gange, among others. His geographical expertise includes work in India, Nepal, Malaysia, and Jamaica, with a focus on water, wastewater, sanitation, waste management, and industries such as leather, food processing, and real estate.

Currently, Asgar serves as a Partner at Nangia Andersen and is a member of the Working Group on Risk for Government and Infrastructure Practice.
