Augusto Dembo is a Senior staff of the MINPLAN of Angola, with over a decade of experience dealing with PPPs, where he currently holds the position of Director of the PPP Unit. He holds a certificate of IFC Senior Training on PPP and Project Finance at Harvard University, CP3P-F by APMG and a degree in International Trade from ISCIA, Portugal.

He is credited to actively participated in the elaboration of the legal framework for PPPs in Angola with the support the World Bank, AfDB and AFD.

Under his leadership, the PPP Unit began a broad process of implementation of various projects: the Lobito Corridor, Management of the New Luanda International Airport, Logistics Platforms, the Luanda Metro Project, Free Zones, etc.
