BIOGRAPHY

Noman Siddiqui heads the IDB’s Public Private Partnership Division, which has the mandate to support IDB’s member countries through specialized PPP advisory, development of innovative financing structures for infrastructure concession and arranging long term debt capital. Norman joined IDB in 2011 and has since been engaged in managing the PPP business portfolio that spans across Asia, sub-Saharan Africa and the MENA region. He was instrumental in developing IDB’s A-B Finance Islamic umbrella program to provide risk-mitigation support for private debt capital flows into IDB’s member countries.

Norman is a trained corporate banker having extensively worked in the areas of structured & project finance, debt capital market and loans syndications in his long career with ABN Amro Bank and Emirates Bank International. He holds an MBA from IBA Karachi and a MS-Finance from University of Illinois, USA.
