Michael is currently the Executive – Finance of TransNamib Holdings Limited and has been in this role since 2013. He is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ) and also holds a MSc degree in Leadership and Change Management.
Michael has experience in leading the finance, treasury and procurement functions of power utilities, rail operations and manufacturing businesses. He also has significant experience in leadership positions across various sectors including private equity, unlisted investments management and the energy sector, having previously held the position of CFO for NamPower, Namibia’s power utility and the position of Portfolio Manager – Alternative Investments for Old Mutual. He also possesses broad knowledge and experience in corporate finance, capital raising, investment banking, governance, processes and controls improvement and auditing.
